Chinese New Year 2009

Since my niece at kampung started working, it's hard to get together and going somewhere with just the three of us. So, we planned to get together, me and my two nieces, during Chinese New Year 2009. We planned to visit places in KL that we haven't visited before. We started early in the morning around 8.00 am and our first visit was to National Zoo at Ulu Klang. The rates was RM10/person. The last time went to the National Zoo was when I was still a child and it was like an eon years ago.

Unfortunately, some part of the zoo was under construction and closed to the public. Later, when the construction has completed, I was told they up the rates to RM25/person.

After National Zoo, we went to to KLCC. Ahh..so refreshing after being under the hot sun at the Zoo. We had our lunch at one of the fast food restaurant at KLCC. After taking a break, we continued our tour at Aquaria KLCC. The entrance fees was RM28/person then but now it's RM35/person.

What can I say about Aquaria? Mmmm...Totally awesome. Much much better than The Underwater World Langkawi. We were very fortunate because Saturday was one of the day that they have a show of feeding the big fish (we didn't know about that).

Later, we saw a movie at TGV cinema at KLCC then went to pasar malam Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman. By that time, all of our feet hurts and I can barely walk straight.

Tomorrow morning, we went back to our kampung. My sister came and picked us up at the bus station then off we go to Teluk Batik Beach.

It was raining, so I was unable to mandi laut. huhuhu. Beside I was still quite tired from all the exploring that we did the day before. We just waited until the rain stop, then my brother in law suggested we visit a Taman Paya Bakau (Mangrove Park) situated just near Teluk Batik (I never knew it exist).

We ended up our tour with a visit to the nearest restaurant for our dinner. I was very tired and just stayed at home until it was time for me to go back to KL.
