Singapore November 2008

In November 2008, my sister invited me to visit Singapore with her family. Somebody at her work place organized a tour to Singapore. The rates was RM90/person and the organizer provided bus, group passport, entrance fees for certain places and breakfast. This is the first time that I visit Singapore. In fact, this is the first time that I go 'oversea' (Even though only over the Tebrau Strait). We all gathered early in the morning and set out for Singapore using the Second Link Highway, I suggest that if you want to go to Singapore, use the Second Link Highway. It's not too crowded and the facilities are good.

The bus took us first to The National Science Center. My nephew was so excited since the first thing that he saw at the entrance was a big mechanical dinosaur (A T-Rex I think)

Later, we visit the Merlion Park, took some pictures and then took shelter under the bridge. It was rainy, but everyone was excited and ignore the rain.

Then, makan time, at Kampung Gelam. We ate at a Malay restaurant there, bought some souvenirs and took a break before we continue our journey to Sentosa Island.

Fortunately, the rain finally stopped just before we reached the Sentosa Island. Then, we were free to do our own activities until the 'Song of the Sea' Show.

Mmmm....penantian itu satu penyiksaan

We arrived at my sister's house at 11 pm. I was so tired and fall asleep right away.zzzzzzzzzzzz
